Counseling

Dear students, parents, and guardians,
As the 2020-21 school year approaches, we in the CMS counseling department realize that you all may be struggling with the new and unprecedented ways in which students will attend school this upcoming year.  As this is a difficult time for students and families, we would like you to know that we are here to support you in any way we can.  While we may not physically be in school full time, we are accessible by email and phone, and can plan a time to discuss any concerns you may have.

Please know that we can assist students both in person and remotely with social, emotional and academic concerns during this very difficult time.

If your child feels “uneasy” with in-person counseling, please know that we will be taking all necessary precautions, i.e. physical distancing, to make each student feel comfortable and safe within our counseling setting.  If your family has selected remote learning exclusively, please don’t hesitate to contact via email and encourage your child to set up a Google Meet so we can still connect with your child and provide the support needed.

Sincerely,

The Central Middle School Counseling Department
