 CENTRAL MIDDLE SCHOOL PTSA

Dear Parents and Guardians,

Welcome to the 2021-20 22 school year! While this school year may be different from years past, the commitment that the CMS PTSA is making to the students, staff and families of Central Middle School will not be. We are planning for a year where we can offer the entire school community many different opportunities to benefit from our organization.  We will constantly be working to make changes where they are necessary and conforming anything and everything we can to adhere to the ever changing times we are all experiencing so that none of our students miss out on what we would like to provide for t hem.

As a non-profit organization, we request you show your support in two ways:
 1. Become a PTSA member. It's only $8.00/person, and it is obligation-free. Participation or attendance at meetings is not required.
2. Contribute to our family donation fundraising program: a one-time contribution of $30 (or whatever you can comfortably afford) per CMS family.

The best way you can help us ls by becoming a member of our PTSA. When your membership form and fee are received you will be placed on our email list. This will allow you to stay updated on anything and everything that the PTSA is working on. Communication with our members is one of our biggest priorities and we hope you will find that we do our best to keep everyone as informed as possible.

In addition to your membership, you are given the option to make a one time family donation to the PTSA. This donation allows us to pull back on the many fundraisers you are used to being asked to participate in while still giving us the funds to proceed with all of the yearly functions of the PTSA that the students rely on. The more participation we receive, the more we are able to do for our school.

While PTSA membership and participation ln the family donation program are voluntary, your financial support of both programs will insure another successful year for the CMS PTSA.

The PTSA also presents several awards to each grade level and scholarships for our 8th graders at the end of each school year. In order for your student(s) to be considered for these accolades you must be a contributing member to the CMS PTSA through membership and your family donation. All memberships and donations should be received prior to December 31, 2021 for students to be considered for these awards and scholarships.

We hope that you will support all of our efforts to the degree which you are able. Please remember that we strive to fund programs and activities which benefit ALL of the students.

If you have any questions regarding memberships or family donations please do not hesitate to contact me via email at thiltz27@yahoo.com.

Thank you for your continued support! We are looking forward to doing our best to make this the best year possible for our students and staff!
